A little history...
Heading 5
1n 1976, while hunting for souvenirs, I spotted a tiny train display in a shop window in Geneva, Switzerland. This was my introduction to z scale, and the collection was begun with this initial purchase of Marklin items (pre geezer). With guidance from the Marklin layout catalog, the largest Marklin suggestion was constructed. Most new Marklin and z scale items were added upon introduction. Years later, a move into a larger home with a full basement allowed for an expansion into the current layout. The layout consists of three modules 3' x 7' with a 2' x 19' common connector into an E shape configuration. There is a scenic backdrop on three sides of this arrangement. The collection and layout now includes items from most manufacturers, custom built kits, and some rolling stock of my own design. All items in the collection have been run on the layout and photographed. This is not very prototypical, and may not appeal to the purist, but I like to run the trains. So browse my website and see what z scale is all about. Enjoy.
